BP Gemlik Terminal Facility
A rapid structural risk assessment was realized for the BP Gemlik facility structures against potential earthquake and other service loads based on visual inspection, review of the structural drawings and documents available as well as spot checks and calculations if required. In the report, cost estimations of potential retrofitting application are given and further detailed assessment requirements are determined for the buildings having structural risk. Estimated remaining life expectancy for the buildings having no risk is also determined based on the construction date, maintenance and environmental conditions.
