21st Century Tower
This radical project integrated a steel superbrace framing system and a vertical stack of five nine-story-high triangular atriums or “Winter Gardens” into the design of the office/hotel tower. At 1.1 million square feet and 50 stories high, this tower used a network of cable trusses to support the glazing at the Winter Gardens. Project design completed but not constructed.
