Sutter Medical Foundation Stockton Medical Office Building I and II
The Sutter Gould Stockton medical campus comprises four buildings, totaling more than 164,000 square feet of the buildings located on the campus, two of them are three-story medical office buildings. We designed both of these buildings using special moment-resisting frames. Our structural design also included slotted web connections, which allowed for the use of lighter and deeper columns. Our design Our design for the two office buildings resulted in a cost savings of $1,000 per beam, or roughly $50,000 per building. In addition, the Ambulatory Surgery Center and Imaging Center are both single-story buildings containing sensitive medical equipment, which required a robust structural system. The Imaging Center connects to both of the medical offices.
