Port-au-Prince, Haiti
The January 2010 earthquake in Haiti called for extraordinary measures from the global community, which was mobilized by an unprecedented humanitarian need. We are working with the government of Haiti and key recovery stakeholders to respond to the nation’s most immediate needs and to lay the foundation for reconstructing earthquake-devastated Port-au-Prince. We are also working with the United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS), World Bank, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and Pan American Development Foundation (PADF). Our work includes damage assessment of 400,000 structures in Port-au-Prince, and planning and implementing a reconstruction strategy for the affected area.
